Will Sheila Johnson, BET-cofounder, Back Romney?

So, I saw this article in the Loudoun Times-Mirror: “Gov. McDonnell visits Salamander Resort, praises owner.”  The article is about Sheila Johnson, who founded the BET network with her now ex-husband.  She’s now a billionaire hospitality and sports executive.  She was a big-time Democrat donor and contributor to Obama’s 2008 campaign.  But, in 2009, she went all into current Virginia GOP Governor Bob McDonnell’s campaign, making large donations, campaigning with him, and appearing in advertisements as a Democrat who supported him.

So, this article about Bob McDonnell appearing at Johnson’s new Salamander Resort in Loudoun County got me thinking.  Who will Johnson back in the 2012 presidential campaign?  She’s obviously still on good terms with Governor McDonnell, but I’m sure there’s a lot of pressure on her to endorse Obama.

Google searches turn up nothing concerning public endorsements for 2012.  I then looked her up on NewsMeat a great site which lets you look up celebrity FEC donations (actually, any FEC donor, but celebrities are organized very well).  NO FEC DONATIONS TO FEDERAL CANDIDATES SINCE 2007!  She gave the max to Obama in 2007, but $0 donated to Democrats for federal office including Obama for this election cycle!  Very interesting…

My question then is, will she endorse Romney, or eventually cave under the pressure and endorse Obama?  Or will she just stay out of the election all together which is effectively an endorsement of Romney like former Virginia Governor Doug Wilder’s refusal to cave to Obama and endorse Creigh Deeds when he really wanted to endorse McDonnell too, but Obama said no.
